Happy almost spring, lovely people!
(Can you tell I’m excited for the change of season?)
Here’s a bunch of the newest music that I’ve been marinating in. Please marinate for yourself, and let me know in the comments if there’s anything that lights you up too.
Some notable highlights:
Our “opening” with Colorado artists Tierro (co-founder of the Arise festival) and his partner Bridget Law (rockstar violinist from Elephant Revival) collaborating with ethereal vocalist Xerephine
Sloan’s sharp first track from their new album totally hipster rocks just as much as they ever have (there’s a Sloan playlist coming for sure)
Easy Star All-Stars are obviously cooking up a Bowie album; it was a hard pick between Starman and last week’s release of “Moonage Daydream”
LP Giobbi remixing Jerry Garcia, so fun
Lake Street Dive making an amazing cover of a hit song that always made me not linger long on whatever station it was on
Goose with some lovely thoughts about thoughtfully standing back up after a stumble
My beloved Katie’s newest song, a hypnotic track co-created with our longtime producer Ben (and check out the canvas video I put together)
Teaser: Katie and our band have a new studio album coming out on April 14. Pre-save it on the top streaming services HERE, and follow us on Bandcamp to get access to listen (and maybe even buy) the new release early. And, in the meantime, there are a few singles that will drop early, pre-save the first one HERE.
Sending spring-time, loving vibes to you all :)
